A-Z typology part one

A-Z of Quietness
  • Currently my favourite of the lot, and the one which I feel has the most potential. The use of abstract concepts instead of concrete ideas makes for a more interesting and challenging piece of work, for both artist and viewer.

A-Z of Winter

  • The use of puns and atypical list items makes for an unusual piece of work, but all the same is very list based and ultimately a little boring.

A-Z of Bears / A-Z of a Bear's Feelings

  • The second of these themes came off as a development of the first. Ultimately an excuse to draw bears, but also a different way of expressing emotions.

A-Z of Soviet Space

  • Too systematic and list based, but a topic I have interest in!

A-Z of Mild Accidents and Injuries

  • Playful ideas, but perhaps not the most challenging concepts.

A-Z of Things that are Hard to Draw

  • Perhaps not the best way to showcase my illustrative capabilities, but a fun idea. Perhaps play up the badness of the drawings as a stylistic and humorous choice.

A-Z Nonsense Story : (one) and (two)

  • Challenging concepts but hard to decipher by the viewer without the aid of text!
